"To God be the glory!"
While it is great to see celebs, athletes, etc. giving credit to God for their accomplishments, (not only as a testament to their faith, but as proclamation of thanks to their God-given talents that probably made them famous in the first place).... especially in front of the Super Bowl crowd live and on TV, I can't help but wish he had been a little more specific on the "God" comment, or at least elaborated...

I mean, I guess I shouldn't be picky - the Lord can certainly use any and all of us to bring glory, honor and focus to His name - I just get much more excited when they say "Jesus" or even when they say "The Lord" b/c it let's other's know you are talking about Jesus Christ. The one and only, The God of the Bible, The Alpha and the Omega, The Savior, Our Reedemer, Our Messiah, The Word, The Amen, The Light of the World, The Lamb of God, and The Ruler of Creation who SPOKE THE WORLD INTO EXISTENCE! YEAH! AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!
What do you think?

Great point; I certainly agree that a more specific reference to Christ would be best, but I suppose that when we hear only "God" referenced and it lights a fire in us to want to see Christ (the 2nd person of the God-head) magnified, that God is glorified and blessed by our passion for Him. He works all things together for our good -- to God be the glory!
